THOR Mexico achieves two milestone certifications

We are proud to announce that THOR Mexico recently gained two important certifications. In alignment with THOR Group’s ESG strategy, the site gained ISO 45001, as well as the Industria Limpia certification.

These milestones are testament to THOR Group’s ESG commitments, as well as our local Mexico team’s dedication to THOR’s company vision: to harmonise the needs of our customers with those of the planet.

ISO 45001 is the internationally recognised standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System. This certification complements our robust management system, which is already supported by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These standards are widely recognised worldwide for enhancing the quality of products and services through effective management practices. As announced in our recent Sustainability Strategy Launch Report, we’re aiming to be ISO 45001 compliant across all of our manufacturing sites worldwide by the end of 2025.

Meanwhile, Industria Limpia (Clean Industry) is a nationwide certification awarded to companies that not only comply with local environmental legislation in Mexico, but also go beyond, ensuring a controlled impact on air, water, and soil while strengthening commitments to environmental stewardship. We are proud that THOR Mexico is now part of a select group of just 114 companies recognised with this certification in 2025, achieving the highest possible level.

Together with the best practices established by Responsible Care and good manufacturing practices (GMP), these certifications strengthen THOR’s overall vision for ESG, where our planet, our people, our products, and our governance, are all inseparable pillars of our ESG strategy and organisational identity.
