Overview

Acticide® MC 3 delivers outstanding antimicrobial properties for a variety of aqueous-based raw materials, intermediates, and end-use products.

The active ingredients, a reaction mass of 5-Chloro-2-methyl-1,2-thiazol-3(2H)-one (CIT) & 2-Methyl-1,2-thiazol-3(2H)-one (MIT) in a 3:1 ratio, along with 2-Methyl-1,2-thiazol-3(2H)-one (MIT), remain stable in acidic to low alkaline environments, ensuring no efficacy gaps against common industrial spoilage organisms. The unique stabilizing system, based on monovalent salts, further enhances the product's performance.

Additionally, Acticide® MC 3 allows the addition of MIT below the Specific Concentration Limit (SCL) to bolster protection against Pseudomonas species, providing an extra layer of defence for your formulations.
